This website was created for runners, by runners. It contains the best information we can provide. There are no ads and no promotions. It is totally free and secure for all who use it.

Tidbits (examples) we hope you’ll enjoy:

How to Begin:

If you’re a beginner you’re not alone. We were all beginners at one time.

Goal Setting:

Using age graded results you can compete with everyone in the field.

Training:

In real estate it’s location, location, location. In training for long distance running it’s miles, miles, miles or km, km, km.

I ask myself this question: “Am I building up or am I breaking down. If I’m building up I keep the pressure on. But if I’m breaking down, I cut back and come back.”

Some soreness comes with hard training. If the soreness goes away as you run it’s PROBABY ok to continue. But if it gets worse, it is CERTAINLY not ok.

Racing:

We humans are wonderful biochemical, biomechanical machines. Racing is all about preparation and execution against our own unique limits. Read a 3 ½ month plan to achieve one’s best.

The best race results come from flat pacing or running every mile/ km at as nearly as possible to the same exact time. My own best half marathon result came with pacing only + or – 2 seconds per mile for the entire distance.

Run smart races. Dumb races come from running against someone else. Race the course and “listen to your wind”.

We sincerely hope runners all around the world will find this a useful resource. If you do, please tell your runner friends.

If we can improve, tell us how using the Contact Us Box.
